I bought this for my front door, and it works well so far. The case material looks durable and gorgeous. Easy to install, program. Lots of features including extra user codes, auto-lock and vacation mode that truly reduce power consumption. I had a digital lock before and it ate batteries, need to replace batteries every 2 months and hope this one can last longer.I really like how this lock will latch the door behind you. I use this on the side of my garage and I can leave that way in the morning and not have to worry about locking the door. It's a real time saver. If I forget something and have to go back in the house it's simple matter of entering the code in going inside. It's really nice not to have to carry keys. I've started using rechargeable batteries on just about everything so I'm using them in this. I did have to install fresh recharge cells after 2 months but that might be my batteries. They're kind of old. I replaced a different style lock with this one. That lock had a flat touch screen that was much more difficult to use. I had been using alkaline batteries in it and they leaked all over and killed the thing. This lock seems to be doing well even though I have it somewhat in the weather.It works pretty well and it has crisp buttons. It took a while to set it up and is lightweight. I do like that you can use your key or the pin pad.Not much to add. This is a nice lock at a great price point. A few years ago this lock would have cost triple the price.Smooth installation and smooth reliable operation. Recommended.I got this to replace an old "smart" deadbolt lock that just doesn't work very well. I wasn't using the smart feature anyway and I wanted a keypad with actual rubber buttons, not a smooth touch screen that doesn't work if you have gloves on or in certain weather conditions.This deadbolt is very similar to other ones on the market and is extremely easy to install, especially if you are replacing an existing manual or motorized deadbolt. I was able to install this in under 15 minutes and it works perfectly. The instructions are easy to follow and make it clear how everything should be positioned. The first time you insert the batteries, the lock determines which way the door is facing automatically and knows if it closes left or right. This has been an issue for me with some locks, including some expensive name brands. Absolutely no issue with this lock.To program the lock, you enter the default admin password which is 123456 and then you can set your own password (please do this). After that, you can program in up to 50 different user codes which is great if you want to put in a temporary code for a house sitter or renter and then change it later so they can't get in. Programming is not intuitive so don't lose the manual, or at least take a photo of the instructions. After doing it a few times, you sort of remember which buttons to press but there's no voice prompts, just beeping and a red or green light to let you know if it worked. I had no issues programming it and I was able to change my admin code and program 2 user codes in about a minute or so.Very happy with this lock. It works great and of course it comes with 2 keys so if the batteries die you can still open the lock. I am happy with the oil rubber bronze look, it's very dark and looks almost black but I like the look. A nice simple, clean lock with no unnecessary features and it's been very reliable for me so far. Uses four AA batteries (included) and they are easy to change from the inside without needing any tools.This lock has simplified our lives as AirB&B hosts immensely! No more lost keys and freedom from check-in meetings. It pays for itself with one call to the locksmith that you no longer have to make.An intuitive operation that even the most difficult of guests will understand make this simple, yet effective lock our go-to for guest rooms. Installation is straightforward as it will fit in a standard deadbolt lock hole.There are fancier, web-enabled locks, but this is ideal for us as on-site hosts. 10/10 would definitely recommend it.
