Bought per recommendation of the LPL on the YouTubes and as a handyman dealing with locks and doors a lot for my clients, I’m glad I did.Firstly the thing that stood out the most is that it is heavy, and solid. It’s heavy and solid because unlike most Chinese and budget ( even the expensive locks) are constructed from brass and crappy casted aluminum which are some of the softest and most brittle metals you can get. Not what you’d want when thinking of high security.The easilok is made of stainless steel and if you know anything about stainless steel, it’s one of the hardest metals to drill, cut or weld. I actually didn’t realize this lock was maid of stainless until I tried to use a bastard file on the deadbolt since I had a slight misalignment in the lock and door jamb, so instead of redrilling the strike plate and making more holes in the frame, I tried to file the dead bolt and go my surprise, it was very hard to do since the teeth would barely bite!I love the ultra smooth function when turning and the fact that I can lock it without a key from the outside!5 keys per lock were included which is plenty for me and they aren’t your standard run if the mill style that someone can just run a bump key though and open your lock without a little effort.The lock is not unpickable as some other ignorant reviewers say, in fact the lock picking lawyer proves this, but Easilok doesn’t advertise to be unpickable but rather to be unpickable when you disengage the key function from the inside with something they call nite mode I believe. Then it is unpickable.Most locks however in my experience fail due to brute force not because someone picked it, so with that in mind, I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
