Use and application: The additional door lock with security link 2130 is suitable for inward opening doors. It is mounted on the inside on the handle side of the door and provides additional protection against prying of the door. The opening and closing is done from the outside with a key, from the inside with a knob. The locking bracket allows a gap-wide door opening. The additional door lock is suitable for rebated and flush doors, DIN right-hinged and DIN left, for fold thickness of 0 to 21 mm and door thickness of 35 to 50 mm. Lo primero, hay que tener muy en cuenta el sentido de apertura. Yo lo compré en una oferta y ni lo miré, resultando que el modelo de oferta tiene el sentido de apertura al revés que el mío. Aún así, se lo di a mi hermano, que su casa tiene la apertura de la puerta en el otro sentido y sí le valía. Lo instalamos siguiendo las instrucciones y parece un sistema robusto y seguro, pero se traba la guía de seguridad (la pieza de metal que cuelga) y tienes que darle con el dedo para cerrar de nuevo la puerta. Lo desmontamos todo porque pensamos que lo habíamos instalado mal, pero la instalación era correcta, simplemente es que no tiene un buen diseño. Por lo demás, cumple su función, aunque hay sistemas de seguridad más cómodos que éste...
