From the Amazon presentation I thought these were Master Lock brand, but as far as I can tell they are "no name" Chinese product. I hope they last as long as I expected of Master LockI needed 5 locking door knobs and deadbolts. I ordered 6 because of the reviews that I read. 5 of the sets were good. One would not lock. All of the others worked fine. The locks on the deadbolts are not as heavy duty as the Brinks deadbolts that I replaced but certainly good enough.The doorknobs and dead bolts look nice and being keyed all the same, makes it nice that I only have to carry 1 key. The bad and the reason I gave 4 stars is for 2 reasons; included phillips wood screws are very soft and the phillips screwdriver slot strips out very easy and the terrible instructions is 2nd reason.We have 6 entry doors so it was the perfect package-for now. The handles scratch easily and are a little wobbly. And the keyholes are a little rusty -we’ve only had them a couple of months and there’s never any direct rain on them so not sure what’s going on with thatWe bought a house with 11 exterior entries all keyed different. I purchased this set to get at least 5 of them keyed alike. I have a lot of experience replacing locking hardware as does my husband. Four of the sets installed easily. The fifth set seemed to be defective. The knob installed just fine but the latching deadbolt would not work despite multiple attempts to install and multiple doors tried. So 4/5 of the sets are installed and working great. The fifth set seems defective and is not usable.I had a hard time finding a set of door locks for my home. They are so overpriced at every place I went. I am satisfied with this product and price. So far, so good.Super great buy for changing all the locks on the house! Easy to install, but the mechanics do occasionally stick. Tried to take the faceplates off and spray some WD-40 inside, but didn’t help much. You can tell that they’re not the top of the line quality, but a GREAT purchase for the value if you’re looking to change locks or doorknobs! (Just note that EACH set comes with 6 keys…)
